Victor's Crown

I woke up this morning with part of a song going over & over in my mind..."Every high thing must come down. Every stronghold shall be broken. You wear the Victor's crown. You overcome, you overcome." Of course, then this scripture came to my mind...2 Corinthians 10"3-5 (KJV), "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ." ~ Sometimes, "walls" are built as protection. And other times, they are built to be a hindrance. Those walls or strongholds that are built to be a hindrance must come down. Those things in our life that are exalted above God...must be brought down. If you want to have victory in your life, you must put God above all else in your life. Like it says in John 16:33, we will have tribulation and trials in life. But, we need to be of good courage & cheer because HE overcame all the things in the world that try to hinder us. So when you are faced with those high things and those strongholds remember 1 John 4:4, "greater is HE that is in you than he that it is in the world." Trust HIM to give you the strength and courage you need to face the day ahead! ♥
