My Husband Did It Again!

My husband loves to cook and bake. Which comes in handy, believe me. He also likes to make the kids' birthday cakes. For Kalynn's birthday party on Sunday, he made a butterfly cake for her. He did an awesome job! We bought a special star decorating tip and he did the whole cake like that. Kalynn boasts that her Daddy makes the best cakes. When they are older and look back on their birthdays they will always remember the love, time and care their Daddy took in making their birthdays extra special.

I keep telling Jack that he needs to take cake decorating classes. Growing up my Pastor in Valley City, North Dakota was a professional baker/cake decorator at a local grocery store. I think my husband has the potential of being a CHEF...Creating edible works of art.

As you can tell I am proud of him. but, here is another cake he did for a friend of ours for her birthday. She is singer/songwriter. He used my sons guitar as a model and it was about 2.5 feet in length. He is really quite creative.

Yep! My husband did it again...created an edible work of art. He is definitely a keeper!
