A Blessing Named....Kalynn

Seven Years ago we were blessed with a precious little bundle of joy. Born at 2:53am on December 15th. She has always been called our little angel. She has definitely been a blessing in our lives. I am so very thankful for both of my kids. They are both healthy, well behaved, talented and smart. But for today, I want to mention my precious little girl.

She loves to learn new things. And yesterday she told me that she really doesn't like candy anymore. She sounds so grown up when she tells me, "Mommy, I really want to eat healthy, no chips, no candy". It makes me feel so proud. This morning I went into her room to sing "Happy Birthday" to her. She was already up playing with her Barbies. When she saw me watching her she ran and gave me a hug and said, "Mommy! I'm 7!". She has been counting down the days for weeks. Yep...I am proud of my precious little girl, who is growing up so fast.

We have a busy day planned, but before I close this out, I wanted to share a little story and picture. One day when she was one, I was in the kitchen washing dishes when I heard her saying, "Oh, Jesus, Oh, Jesus". It was nothing to hear her playing church or praising Jesus. So, I went to go see I saw her kneeling at a box beside the refrigerator. She was praying. It was so cute that it was one of those "Kodak" moments.
