Well, our adventure trip to the dentist went well! The kids got their teeth cleaned. Kalynn had xrays taken of her teeth. Both kids have healthy teeth. Of course the dentist gave them new toothbrushes, some stickers, etc. But the ongoing project today was Kalynn's loose tooth. She had tried to open a container of Yoplait yogurt this morning, with her teeth I might add, and she loosened her tooth even more. Tonight as she was sitting at the table for supper , she said, "Mommy, is my tooth going to fall out while I'm sleeping tonight?" I walked over and told her to open her mouth so I could look at it again. She opened her mouth and pushed on her tooth with her tongue and out it popped. As it landed on her tongue she got this surprised look on her face and said..."It came out!" Her next exclaimation was, "Now I look like Keilani!" Keilani, a friend of Kalynn's from church, lost a tooth just a month ago or so. Kalynn wanted so bad to loose a tooth like Keilani. Now, she is so excited that her tooth finally came out. We put the tooth in a little baggie until Daddy gets home. Then she said she would put it under her pillow for the "tooth fairy" (which she already knows is Daddy & Mommy).
So, Project Loose Tooth is now considered Mission Complete!
