~ In Exodus 14:14, it says, "The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace."
When I read this scripture this morning, it reminded me of the first part of Psalm 46:10, "Be still, and know that I am God."
Both of these scriptures have one thing in common, being still and letting God take control. Sometimes, in our own eyes, it seems so much easier to do things our way...to be in control of everything that is going on. But, that is not necessarily the best thing for us. I say it over and over, but God has a plan. His plans and His ways are higher that ours. Meaning, that the plan He has for each of our lives is much bigger than what we dream up for ourselves. So, when we are faced with uncertainties and fears, trust Him... take a step back... be still... and watch Him work. Let Him fight the battle that is raging in your mind and heart.
There will be the doubters and naysayers that come your way. But, trust that God has a bigger and better plan for you. When we remain faithful to Him, the blessings and rewards are far greater than the heartache and discontentment the world has to offer. ♥
