Trusting In Him

You know, we all face times when feel inadequate or undetermined qualified to do what God has called us to do.  But, sometimes we have to remind ourselves that...God doesn't call those that are qualified, He qualifies those He calls.  He modifies, shapes and tailors us.  And, He makes us qualified by training us. He expands our understanding and wisdom.  He equip us with the right "tools for the job".

Moses was a prime example of this principle.  Exodus 3:9 - 4:18 describes the conversation between God and Moses.  Moses keeps trying comes up with reasons why he is not the man for the job.  But with every excuse, God shows Him how He can work through Moses. 

We can try to point out our imperfections to God to try to persuade Him to use us in a specific area all day long.  But the fact of the matter is that it is HIM working through us.  With Him at the controls, we can do anything He has called us to do.  Because He will modify, train, shape, tailor and expand us into a useful vessel.

Lord, help us to not hold back because we see ourselves as inadequate...but help us trust you to qualify us for what you have called us to do.
