A Hearty Thanks!

If something is "hearty" it is bona fide, unhesitating and enthusiastic.  That would describe my Thanks to God this evening.  For the past two days, my daughter has been struggling with a sinus infection and strep throat.  As a result of these infections, she also had a fever...that insisted on spiking to 105 at times.  I was on the verge of making the decision of taking her to the ER when I called the church for the ministry team to pray.  Afterwards, I went into her room and leaned over her and began to cry out to God.  As the tears begun to flow I prayed that her fever break and diminish in Jesus name...then I began to thank God for healing her even though I did not physically see the evidence of that healing.  Gradually her temperature began to fall.  A little while ago, I went into check on her and her temperature was almost back to normal and she had been sweating.  My first thoughts were...THANK YOU JESUS!  Yes, my thanks to our GREAT & MIGHTY God is definitely bona fide, unhesitating and enthusiastic.

I am thankful that God always come through for us.  Like the song says, "What would I do without the Lord on my side?  Where would I be without His hands to guide?  He blesses me."
