The Unspoken Prayer

One of the ladies in our church has a daughter that is a few years older than Kalynn. There have been many times that when her daughter grows out of clothing or shoes, she will pass them on to Kalynn. Last night after church she told me that she had some shoes for Kalynn. When we got home and I opened the bag there were two shoe boxes and a pair of shoes wrapped in another bag. As usual, Kalynn was excited to get "new" shoes. But when I opened the two shoe boxes, I begin to cry tears of joy. You see, it seems lately that the financial belt of our family has been cinched a little tighter over the past few weeks. I had just thought the other day how I really needed to buy Kalynn some white dress shoes and a pair of tennis shoes. But, I kept putting it off each pay day. I had not really prayed for God to supply them, but It was in the back of my mind. And when I opened those two boxes last night you will never guess what was in them...a pair of tennis shoes and a pair of white dress shoes! I begin to thank God out loud for the answer to my unspoken prayer. A little while later, I peeked in Kalynn's room...she was jumping up and down and saying "thank you Jesus for these shoes...thank for answering our prayers". In Isaiah 65:24, it says, "And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear". Before we verbally began to call on Him to provide the shoes...He already had an answer on the way.

So today, though my post is "short and sweet", I wanted to share my testimony of How God can answer even the unspoken prayers. We serve a AWESOME God! And in thanksgiving I say...

Thank you, JESUS for answering even the unspoken prayers!
