As I sit here at my computer, I can hear the rain steadily falling outside. My rose bushes have grow at least 6 inches in the last few days! I have a climbing rose bush on the side of the house that was planted by Jack's Granny years ago. That thing has been cut down, mowed over and backed over by a truck. It just keeps coming back. But now, it is nothing for it to grow and inch or two a day! I am going to have to have Jack build a bigger trellis for it this year already.
But anyways, back to the rain...as it has been raining off and on the last few days, I have had the title to a song going through my head. That is because that is the only part of the song that I could remember..."Raindrops keep fallin' on my head". So I looked up the lyrics to the song...after reading them I thought, "It is a wonder that this song became so popular in its day". Check out the lyrics below...

Raindrops keep falling on my head
Just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed
Nothing seems to fit
Oh raindrops keep fallin' on my head
Keep on falling
Cause I just done me some talking to the sun
And I said I didn't like the way he got things done
Sleeping on the job
Oh raindrops keep fallin' on my head
Keep on falling
But there's one thing I know
The blues they send to meet me won't defeat me
It won't be long till happiness comes up to greet me
To greet, greet, greet, greet me
Raindrops keep falling on my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turning red
Crying's not for me
'Cause I ain't gonna stop the rain by complaining
Raindrops keep falling on my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turning red
Crying's not for me
'Cause I ain't gonna stop the rain by complaining
Because I'm free, nothin's bothering me
Because I'm free, and nothin's bothering me
Because I'm free, and nothin's bothering me
Because I'm free, and nothin's bothering me
