Stand Still...

Exodus 14:13, "...Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord..."

Numbers 9:8, "...Stand still,and I will hear what the Lord will command concerning you..."

1 Samuel 9:7, "Stand thou still a while, that I may shew thee the word of God."

1 Samuel 12:7, "...Stand still, that I may reason with you before the LORD of all the righteous acts of the LORD"

2 Chronicles 20:17, "...stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you...fear not, nor be dismayed...for the LORD will be with you."

Job 37:14, "...Stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God."

Psalm 46:10, "Be still , and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth."

The thoughts "stand still and be still" came to my mind earlier today.  I got to thinking that sometimes in order for God to work in our situations or to do a good work in us, we need to stand still.  We need to stand upright, be steadfast, and endure.  So we can see the salvation of the Lord.  And we can hear the Lord.  Then, He may reason with us.  And, He can show us things.  So we can consider His wondrous works. And that we may know that He is God and He has everything under control. 

Sometimes, we get so busy from day to day.  So busy that we don't take the time to stop and stand still long enough to hear and see what He has for us.  He has great plans for our lives.  Believe me, it is worth it to stand still long enough to see and hear what it is.  Stand still and be blessed with His anointing and power.  ♥
