He Is With You!

The Lord talking to Joshua in Joshua 1:9 KJV, "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage ; be not afraid , neither be thou dismayed : for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."

Stressful situations got you frazzled? Depression dragging you down? Temptation coming at you full force at every side? Just remember the COMMANDMENT, not a suggestion but the commandment, God gave to Joshua.

Be strong - Stand your ground... on The Rock. Grow and be encourage by His Word. In JESUS name, prevail against what the devil is throwing your way.
Be of good courage - Be alert spiritually, don't become complacent. Be bold in Him and proclaim His greatness. And be secure in knowing His angels have charge over you.

Do not be afraid - Fear can cripple a Christian. Don't tremble at the devil...He trembles at the sound of the name of JESUS. Speak the name of JESUS and he WILL flee. Don't break under the pressure and temptations...allow Jesus to become strong in our weakness.

Do not be dismayed - Do not remain shattered and broken. Allow the healing virtue of Jesus wash over you. Allow Him to heal the scars in your life and mend your broken heart.

Why? Because the Lord God is with you where ever you go. Where ever we walk, when we depart from the house of God...He is with us until we are there for the next service, where ever you go in life...He is there. When yo are carrying a heavy load...He is there right along side of you. The God to whom ALL power in Heaven and earth belongs, is with you. The God with whom ALL things are possible...is with you.

It reminds me of a song:
The eyes of God are upon me, He sees everything I do
The arms of God are around me, He keeps me safe and secure
And He knows where I am every hour of every day
He knows each thought I think, He knows each word that I might say
And although there've been times I've been out of His will
I've never been out of His care

Lord, I pray that your strengthen each and every person who reads these words today. No matter what they are going through or how high the wall is before them that they have to climb...there is absolutely nothing too hard for you. Let them feel your loving arms around them and reassure them that you ARE there. Let them be reminded that the devil has NO POWER over the child of God. Give them the strength they need to stand their ground and rebuke the devil and his minions in JESUS name. We thank you Lord for your Word and the encouragement it brings. Bless our day.
