Trusting Him , Running To Him & Keeping At It.

Proverbs 3:5-8 MSG, "Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don't try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he's the one who will keep you on track. Don't assume that you know it all. Run to God! Run from evil! Your body will glow with health, your very bones will vibrate with life!"

Trust...we say we trust in God.  But, do we totally, completely trust Him or do we sometimes try to figure out things for ourselves in our own way.  We have all done it.  One thing we need to practice (until it becomes a habit) doing is to be bold and confident in His abilities.  Isaiah 59:1 KJV says, "Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened , that it cannot save ; neither his ear heavy , that it cannot hear."  His arm is not too short that is can not reach down and into your situation...His ear is not deaf to hearing your cry and prayers.  Ephesians 3:2- NIRV says, "God is able to do far more than we could ever ask for or imagine. He does everything by his power that is working in us."  What He does in our situation depends upon how much we are going to trust Him.

We need to be sure to listen to His voice every day in everything that we do.  He is the one who will keep us on track when the things in this life try to derail us from paths of righteousness.  Jeremiah 29:11 MSG says, " I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out - plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for."  He knows what He is doing in our lives.  He has a plan that will help us to move forward and up higher into a dimension of His power and grace that we have never known.

Don't assume that you know what is best for you.  He created you with a plan in mind for your life.  He knows the number of hairs on your head.  He knows every time you fall and he is always there to help you get back up and keep at it.  So when things seem unsure...when life throws you a curve ball...when you are oppressed, distressed and shattered...Run away from the things the devil try to tempt you with and run to God.

When we trust in Him completely in all things, there is a spiritual fire that begins to burn in your heart.  And, when "your fruit basket seemingly it overturned" because of your situation, running to God will fan the flame in your heart and you will be consumed with the fire of His grace and power.  I came across the lyrics to a song that fits right here, "So we will run. All together our hearts aflame. With a fire that can't be tamed. Our God all Glory to your name Jesus. We will run. Our surrender to bring you fame. Our desire that you be praised. Our God all Glory to your name Jesus".

You will be surprised how trusting in God completely will affect your health.  You will feel healthier and full of life not only spiritually, but physically also.  So really, it is a win - win option.  When you completely trust in God and allow his to work in you and through your situation you will reap benefits that go well beyond just being spiritually uplifted. I will end my post with this verse: Isaiah 26:3 MSG, "People with their minds set on you, you keep completely whole, Steady on their feet, because they keep at it and don't quit."
