This morning my heart is heavy…we think that the transmission is going out on the Ford truck. And, as I was thinking about the expenses of this, the Lord impressed the following scriptures on my heart.
Psalm 34: “I will bless the Lord at ALL times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”
Ephesians 5:20a “Giving thanks ALWAYS for ALL things unto God…”
Why? “Because thy loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee” – Psalm 63:3
The “human” side of me wants to start worrying about where the money is going to come from for the new transmission. But, then I stop and think…What if this is a test? How am I going to handle this? I want to praise Him and thank Him for this trial. Because no matter what, His loving kindness is better than life. His love is better than anything this life brings my way. It is more powerful and will help me through. He knows what He is doing. And, I trust that He will some how work through this and shine brightly. Because that is what He does best…shining through in those seemingly impossible situations.
So, I am going to get my praise shoes and garment on and shake off this spirit of heaviness, in JESUS name! I am looking forward to a great service this morning at church. And, I am looking forward to seeing HIm work a miracle in our situation. He is GREAT & GREATLY to be praised!
