In Ezekiel 34:25-27 it says, "And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods. And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing. And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them".
This verse came to mind today after I received an email from a friend. There are times in our lives where it seems as if we are about to be devoured by the things coming us. Let face it, sometimes the trials we face can be fiery...in fact the can be fiery enough to consume us. By there is God who can give a peace that passes ALL understanding. A peace that allows us to rest in the "wilderness of our trials". Only God Almighty can take the things that surround us and turn them into blessings. And, only He can take the dark clouds over our heads and turn them into showers of blessings. He shall bring us through every trials when we trust Him. We will see our trees bear fruit again! The seeds that we have sown will bring a bountiful yield. Because He shall break the bands of the yoke that restricts us and deliver us out of these trials!
A couple of years ago, while I was in prayer God had shown me a verse I want to share. Micah 4:1 says, "But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it". In these last days, our churches will be faced with things that could tear them apart. There will even be times of winnowing ( To separate the chaff from (grain) by means of a current of air.; To rid of undesirable parts.) God may have to sift through and remove those that cause problems in the church. And during these times, when the church prays, fasts and remains unified He SHALL establish them. He will make them firm and secure! People will hear of the GREAT & MIGHTY things God has done and brought these churches through. It will bring glory, honor and praise to God and people will flow into them.
We may face trials now...but on the other side of these trials, God is fixin' to do GREAT & MIGHTY things that are beyond our comprehension! The best is yet to come!
