God has a plan for each of our lives. When God inspires a person to take a cartain path, that path may be less traveled. It will more than likely be down a path that they never thought that they would travel. Taking that first step can be almost terrifying for some. But if that person takes that less traveled path, it will make a difference in their life. Yielding and being pliable in the Master's hands allows Him to mold you into a wonderful masterpeice.
When faced with decisions that seem so big, difficult or even frightening, remember Isaiah 41:10: "Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you and uphold you with My righteous right hand".
Use your fear as a stepping stone, not a stumbling block to get where God wants you to be! He is with you! He is your God! His power will give you the strength you need and the assistance to get the job done! Shake yourself loose from fear and hesitation - break free and be who God wants you to be!

Oh, I can so relate to this. I can assure you that I never dreamed thatour lives would take the turns that they have. My signature line right now in my life is this: As for God, His way is perfect. I believe that to be true, even when I don't feel it.
